Adding A Listing

Here is a step by step procedure to follow when adding a listing.

Step 1: Navigate to http://nashvillepetfinders.org/category/lost/

Step 2: Click “Log in or register to add a listing”

Step 3: Create and account and/or log in. A password will be emailed to you after signing up the first time.

Step 4: Once you see this screen, click “posts”, then “add new”.

Step 5:

1. Add Title (ie- Lost Brown Boxer or Found Calico Cat)

2. Use this space to add as much information as you can about the animal. Please include your name, phone number and email address in case contacting you is necessary.

3. Add a category. If you lost your animal, scroll down to “Lost”, then find the subcategory for the animal that you have lost ie. “Lost Dog”. If you found an animal, scroll down to the “Found” category and find the correct sub category for the animal that you found.

4. Click “Set Featured image”

5. Click “Upload Files”

6. Either drag and drop files into that space or click “select files’

7. Make sure the image that you uploaded is highlighted with a check on the top right corner.

8. Click “Set Featured Image”

9. Click “Publish”

If you need to edit anything, simply click posts again, then click the post name that you just created. Make any changes and click publish again.
